The power of knowledge will be in full force at the Iowa Power Farming Show, presented by Farm Credit Services of America and AgDirect, with 16 educational seminars scheduled throughout the show.
It all starts Tuesday, January 30th, with the seminars “Farm Succession Strategies So Good, Even Your In-laws Will Think You’re a Genius!” “Farmer to Farmer: Let’s Talk Soil Health,” “Soil Health for Increased Yield Potential,” “Lessons Learned from Producers: Habits of Confident, Effective Farm Marketers,” “Historical Iowa Climate Trends and Current Weather Situation & Outlook” and “Greenfield Nitrogen: Not Just Another Nitrogen Plant. A Local Plant You Can Own.”
Sessions scheduled for Wednesday, January 31st, include “Family Farm Succession Planning: Be Remembered for the Planning You Did, Not the Planning that You Didn’t Do,” “Farmer to Farmer: Let’s Talk Soil Health,” “Greenfield Nitrogen: Not Just Another Nitrogen Plant. A Local Plant You Can Own.” “Lessons Learned from Producers: Habits of Confident, Effective Farm Marketers,” “Historical Iowa Climate Trends and Current Weather Situation & Outlook” and “Practical Applications of Drones in Agriculture.”

The third largest indoor U.S. farm show, the Iowa Power Farming Show will be held January 30-February 1 at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Show hours are 9 am to 4 pm Tuesday and Wednesday, and 9 am to 3 pm Thursday. Parking and shuttle are FREE at Iowa Cubs-Principal Park.
